FRENCH SPEAKING EVENT OPERATION ASSISTANT

An opportunity for a fluent French speaker to join the Ticketing Operation Team supporting the ticket sale operations  for the FIFA World Cup; ensuring their adherence to key ticketing related tasks; ensuring their compliance to the relevant Ticketing Policies and Regulations; and providing support and assistance on all relevant areas of work.

SPECIFIC DUTIES – PURPOSE

Support the Ticketing Operation Team by managing the relationship between the Member Associations and the FIFA Ticketing Office.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with the Member Associations, liaising with the appropriate personnel managing the Member Association’s Ticketing requirements.
  • Assist (when required) in the reviewing of legal documentation such as Terms and Conditions, Sales Regulations, Ticketing Policies, and any other kind of enforcement documentation applicable to the Member Associations’ Ticketing Operation.
  • Assist in the timely development and subsequent delivery of our Ticketing Solutions according to the guidelines established by FIFA, including regular “User Acceptance Testing” of the technical Ticketing solutions.
  • Assist in the generation, monitoring and publishing of communications via Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • High-standard translation of Ticketing documentation and key sections of the technical Ticketing solutions.
  • Support, monitor and manage the ticket quota allocated to the Member Associations Football Community and their Ticketing constituent groups.
  • Coordination of the Member Associations’ ticket request processing, supervise the submission of ticketholder personal data, generation of invoices, payment processing enforcement, assist in the print and fulfilment of tickets and any other Ticketing activity, as required from time to time.
  • Collaborate and assist with other internal departments in their Ticketing related tasks whilst ensuring that the customer’s requirements are fully met and serviced accordingly.
  • Depending on performance and the operational requirements, the candidate might be required to travel internationally during the events.

REQUIREMENTS OVERVIEW

  • The candidate must have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and be able to work independently or part of a team; they should be professional and courteous with a good telephone manner. 
  • The candidate must be computer literate with a demonstrable administrative and clerical background, have good numeracy skills, have knowledge of the main Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point), and be able to familiarise quickly with bespoke Ticketing applications and tools.
  • The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure; have the willingness to work flexible working hours, with the ability to travel internationally (if required).
  • Must demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills and be able to speak and write English (proficiently) and at least one other language (Spanish, French and/or German preferably).
  • Knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be an advantage but not essentially required as training will be provided.
