This small niche tour operator is seeking a Spanish-speaking suppliers controller to join their busy team in Hertfordshire. If you have previous experience of operations or sales support in the travel industry and can speak fluent Spanish please read on!

The Suppliers Controller acts as the main point of contact for bookings and confirmations between the UK office and Spanish-speaking suppliers.


1.Processing all bookings, amendments and cancellations made by sales and reservations staff and sending to the relevant supplier in the destination.

2.Monitoring and chasing replies where necessary

3.Overseeing the inputting of received information from Cuba into the reservations system, and making sure that relevant staff are informed once bookings are fully confirmed.

4.Sending rooming lists to Cuba head office and representation offices in resort.

5.Acting as the main point of contact with the hotels for new information and developments, including free sales and stop sales, and informing the sales staff accordingly.

6.Requesting and releasing POC tour on a weekly basis.

7.Requesting group accommodation/land services with suppliers.

8.Assisting accounts with problems/emailing on price issues etc.

9.Regular meetings with General Manager/ Supplier Assistance to review problems, working practices, improving efficiency.

10.Entering confirmation details into the reservations system and making sure that sales staff are informed immediately bookings are fully confirmed.

1.Travel industry experience
2.Fluent in spoken and written Spanish
3.Good organisational skills and attention to detail
4.Ability to work well in a team
5.Good communication skills at all levels
