Calling all seasoned BDMs! This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time. You, as Business Development Sales Manager, would work alongside a team of really friendly Business Development Consultants. The whole team works really closely together, despite all being on the road and working from home.

The overall purpose of your job is to recruit new members by handling new member enquiries, proactively approach agents and new business start-ups, organise meetings for all promising leads and finally converting leads to membership opportunities.

On top of that challenging objective, the other purpose of your job is to drive sales of new company products. You even have the opportunity of both feeding back information from members on these products and making suggestions of your own to the teams.

Job Responsibilities:
*Engage agency enquirer and arrange meetings for most relevant agencies
*Ensure key business messages are delivered
*Convert enquiries to membership and ensure a smooth transition into membership
*Attend events and meetings to engage with agents and develop network of contacts for drawing in new members
*Identify agency targets for potential new members and engage proactively
*Understand the products and services available to Clients
*Identify key members to work with and develop a strategy to engage the member, assess the relevancy of the product and maximise selling opportunities
*Engage members to setup up initial discussions and assess appetite for implementation
*Develop an effective training and implementation plan to ensure consistency of training and thoroughness
*Ensure a thorough feedback process is in place to help the central team identify any specific development opportunities with the system, based on member feedback and own observations
*Deliver relevant training
*Track results of training and feedback sales to member owner and assess the next steps for the member
*Plan any follow-up meetings to ensure system is fully embedded in the members business and that the product is being used throughout the business
*Ensure the business development team are fully engaged in the system and are aware of the members who are being trained
*Identify key member supporters to use as case studies to aid recruitment and increase sales.

Experience and skills Required:
*Successfully delivering against high targets in a similar environment
*Building relationships with business partners/suppliers by phone/email/face to face
*Able to comfortably liaise with business members and address their needs
*Working with the leisure travel sector (business travel knowledge is a nice to have)
*Have extensive experience of gaining new business and client relations
*Keeping up to date with all the industry challenges
*Well versed in member engagement
*A natural and easy communicator
*Naturally enthusiastic and committed
*Knowledgeable and aware of the business & products
*An excellent team player (especially considering the team is on the road a lot)
