THE ROLE

Our client has over 2,000 employees based in more than 30 countries. The HR Business Partner will be part of the HRBP and Talent Management team as part of the People & Organisation Development, taking the responsibility of partnering with one or more functions as well as several locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business partnering

Partner with both senior leaders and People team Directors to identify issues and opportunities, define people strategies, and support their implementation. In order to be successful at this you'll need to deliver data analysis insights, provide objective observations, and utilise your acquired experience and knowledge.

Areas of partnership with the senior leaders include:

  • Organisational design
  • Performance management
  • Talent management
  • Onboarding & mobility
  • Policies

Support and coach managers in people matters, especially:

  • Performance management
  • Organisational development

Provide advice and guidance to other teams such as payroll, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, onboarding, mobility and learning & development. Partner with them in cross-functional initiatives.

You will also represent the People Department effectively, proactively communicating changes to the business.

Support change management

  • Partner with other teams in People team to provide a holistic approach
  • Build relationships across different levels in the organisation to gain different perspectives
  • Provide recommendations and support in terms of planning, communication, and execution

Employee relations and compliance

  • Develop and maintain tools that enable seamless collaboration among employees, especially between managers and individual contributors
  • Ensure in collaboration with the legal team that all entities and functions are compliant to the local labour laws.
  • Run internal investigations for issues raised either by managers or employees, ensuring objectivity and compliance. Provide consultancy in decision making and communication.

Talent Management & Performance Management

Support senior leaders and guide managers in:

  • Performance management: reviews, feedback, IDP
  • Development: talent reviews, career development
  • Talent needs: succession planning, org analysis
  • Talent acquisition: talent mapping, internal recruitment

YOUR MUST HAVES*

Required experience

  • 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency in partnering with key stakeholders in senior positions in the definition and execution of people initiatives with business impact
  • Experience in performance management and organisational development in a consultant, business partner or business owner role
  • 2+ years of experience in using data analytics to take or help take decisions that have business impact
  • Experience with employment/labour law principles
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive programs independently
  • Experience in fast paced environments or technology companies is a plus
  • Years of progressive human resources experience, ideally as HR Business Partner, is a plus

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical and data management skills with the ability to translate data into action planning
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and the next moment being part of deeply complex strategy discussions
  • Proven capabilities in coaching and developing managers is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Availability to travel 20% of time
