Or perhaps you’re an experienced Business Travel Consultant with a proven sales travel record, looking to move into an exciting Business Development role? My client is an award-winning travel organisation in Sutton Coldfield and they are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager with a thorough understanding of the corporate travel sector. The successful candidate will have a corporate travel background and a proven travel sales track record and previous business development experience would also be advantageous. In return, my client is offering a highly competitive salary of up to £24k plus bonuses and excellent benefits.

Role of Business Development Manager:
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the corporate travel sector
- Identifying, generating and developing new leads
- Maintaining strong relationships with both existing and lapsed clients
- Creating and delivering proposals, presentations and other marketing tools
- Representing my client at a variety of industry events
- Working to (and exceeding) sales targets
Skills required for the role:
- Previous corporate travel experience and, ideally, previous business development experience
- Proven travel sales track record
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to proactively generate leads
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to work to sales targets
