Product & Commercial Manager
Working closely with the Product & Commercial Director, your job is to oversee all Product functions and drive the commercial effectiveness of our product range. Your role will also involve regular product development of the product range for Global Offices.
Responsibilities:
*The day to day ownership and management of all aspects of the global Indian Subcontinent group product.
*Take the lead in all aspects of future and ongoing global Indian Subcontinent group product development in line with global business and market needs.
*Communicate Indian Subcontinent group product specifications globally through the mechanism of planning sheets, tour dossiers or similar documentation.
*Review of and assistance with other UK product development as required
*Work with Head of Department to construct pricing models and strategy
*Provide pricing for UK and Ireland brochures and websites (with the exception of product contracted directly by the Product & Marketing team) and other pricing as required.
*Review of and assistance with pricing by the Product & Marketing team as required
*Review of other sales office's pricing as required
*Undertake contracting responsibilities as required
*Liaise with Product , Web and Logistics teams to ensure product accuracy
*Report on sales figures and competitor analysis as required
*Setting departures dates and capacity management for global Indian Subcontinent group tours
*Responsible for all fact-related literature including tour dossiers, country guides and final documents.
*Review the fare allowance in conjunction with Air Product Manager

Skills Required:
*At least 4 year's experience in a product related role , ideally with a tour operating background
*Outstanding organisational skills, methodical - ability to prioritise
*Attention to detail , systems orientated
*Strong commercial, analytical and numeracy skills
*Proven writing skills , including ability to accurately proof and develop brochures and customer literature
*Lateral thinking and problem solving ability
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong creative flair
*High energy, positive " Can do" spirit and strong team ethic
*Culturally astute with a good knowledge of the Indian Subcontinent and the Far East
*Aptitude to learn various reservations systems
*Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with flexible working hours
*Competency using Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
The Package:
*A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 plus company benefits will be offered to the successful candidate.
