HOTEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
GLOBAL HOTEL BRAND

A leading, global hotel brand is looking for a Hotel Development Manager to support its growth strategy, and convert leads into new member franchises.
Working closely with internal departments, the successful candidate will ensure seamless communication and a professional approach to the membership community, and achieve a high level of sales by being both active and proactive to achieve results.

Key duties include, but not limited to:

* Recruit new members to the brand, ensuring that they meet and exceed the required levels
of quality
* Minimum number of sales lead appointments set each week
* Lead proactive activities such as telesales, lead qualification and research to support
appointment generation and track conversion
* Responsible for mailing and other communication to potential members, in conjunction with
Marketing
* Plan networking events for prospective members
* Represent the company at industry trade shows


Candidates for this Hotel Development Manager role should have the following skills and experience:

* Held a senior sales role in a targeted environment
* Track record of proactive selling
* A great networker with superb communications skills
* Experience of working with hotel brands (in particular franchise and private/branded
properties )
* Hotel audit exposure
* Confident presentation skills
* Attention to detail
* Possess a degree (or have similar Sales experience)
* Microsoft Office user

Candidates must also be in possession of a driving licence, and be flexible enough to work away from home 2-3 nights per week, and occasional travel overseas.
