Partner Project Manager - eCommerce Global Travel - New York USA

Role:

The Partner Product Manager (PPM) oversees the end-to-end delivery of complex partnership projects (e.g. API integrations, etc.), and is responsible for day-to-day management of connectivity with marketing Partners once implemented. You report to the head of Partner Product Management within the Partner Marketing department, and work closely with stakeholders in Partner organisations as well as interdepartmental technical, operational, and business functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate partners' technical requirements into business growth opportunities; own the implementation of the company's partner solutions with partners
  • Oversee successful end-to-end delivery of complex partnership projects within the agreed scope and time-frame, manage stakeholder expectations and interdependencies
  • Day-to-day management of connectivity with existing marketing partners (API performance, reporting, troubleshooting, root cause analysis); act as primary point of contact for the technical teams at partner organisations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a technical or business analysis role with a proven track record of business analysis / process improvement, web development project life-cycle
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in E-commerce, Information Technology, or IT-related fields
  • Good understanding of web-related technologies and the technical aspects of affiliate distribution models
  • Must possess a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project/product management skills
  • Clear articulation of Business and Functional requirements through technical documentation, architectural diagrams and users requirement document
  • Good understanding of web-related technologies and the technical aspects of affiliate distribution models
  • Thorough knowledge of IT Project Management and ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience in XML API implementation, VB/Excel macros and HTML/CSS is a plus
