Venue Finding and Conference Booking Consultant
For a busy conference, meetings and events agency with a growing travel division, sourcing facilities all over the UK and overseas for a number of large blue-chip and government accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Ideally minimum of 1 years experience within a busy office
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a passion for good customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail, efficient and organised
- Good computer skills (MS Office and databases)
- Able to work on own initiative, under pressure and with flexibility
- Ability to problem solve
Key tasks will be:
- Taking and developing a full brief for a venue find projects
- Producing accurate client proposals
- Negotiating with a range of UK and European venues
- Supplier liaison and negotiation
- Maintaining an accurate client and venue database
- Travelling where necessary for inspection trips and familiarisation visits
- Develop and build good relationships
