Our client is a worldwide tourism business and one of the fastest growing global travel organisations. They currently operate in over 100 cities worldwide and offer tourists amazing experiences in these cities. This is a varied role that involves working alongside the global sales team reporting directly into the Head of Global Sales, assisting with the management and development of key agent accounts, attending exhibitions and sales meetings both in the UK and globally.
You will be required to:
- pro-actively manage and develop existing agents to increase sales levels as well as developing new accounts.
- maintain the internal systems and build the database with new contact leads.
- attend travel trade exhibitions and convert sales leads
- researching each lead and pro-actively managing each new relationship with the support of the Head of Global Sales.
You will also be required to record, report and analyse sales conversions, respond to new sales enquiries and handle customer service enquiries. The role is very much an account management position by building relationships with potential new clients so you must be a bubbly, out-going professional who is not afraid to pick up the phone, meet with clients who you have never met before and be comfortable to attend networking events alone in order to network!
You will be required to attend global travel trade shows, so some overseas travel will be required.
The right person may already hold a position of Sales Executive, Travel Trade Assistant, Customer Service Executive, Sales Assistant or Business Development Executive.
