The main purpose of this groups and trade sales job is to provide a customer focused service efficiently managing group bookings and travel trade booking enquiries, booking processes and contributing to the maximisation of revenue for the attraction.
As a groups and trade sales executive you will be the contact for all group bookings and enquiries and will be required to get stuck in to ensure that all group bookings run smoothly. The right candidate will have a great understanding of international group markets within the travel and tourism industry and have a proven track record and understanding of domestic and inbound tourism.
Our client is looking for someone who is a peoples person who is keen to get their hands dirty and possibly challenge processes that are currently in place to ensure a seamless operation of the groups department, whilst assisting head of sales and marketing in forging new partnerships with tour operators, coach operators and attractions.
You may currently be working in a travel trade sales executive job, sales and account coordinator position or a group reservations executive job in travel.
