Do you know Edinburgh well? If so, this opportunity could be for you.

Working from home, we are looking for a knowledgeable individual to join an ambitious travel start-up. You will be taking calls from American customers looking to travel to Edinburgh (and sometimes beyond). You won't be selling, but more along the lines of helping them build an itinerary for their trip. This will mean that you will be advising customers on the ideal location for their visit (hotels, AirBnB or apartments), options for travel around the city, presenting options for trips, excursions and much more. Ultimately, you will be their local advisor, ensuring that when they book independently in America they get the best value for money knowing that they will have an amazing time when they arrive. The service is all about local knowledge and ensuring that your customers have a schedule that meets all of their needs.

Ideally you will have an all-round knowledge of the city, be in touch with a customer's needs versus what Edinburgh can offer, have the ability to make suggestions that are within the client's budget and above all have a consultative approach. Naturally excellent communication skills and fluent English is a must.

Whilst the role would suit someone that is working in inbound tour operating or a hotel concierge in Edinburgh, we will consider applications from any background; providing you can demonstrate a passion, sound geographical knowledge and great understanding of tourist attractions & hotels in Edinburgh.
