Head of Paid Search/SEM
A rapidly growing online travel business is looking for a Head of Paid Search/SEM to join their well-established, award-winning business based in Central London.
The successful candidate will manage all in-house PPC/Paid Search activity and will be responsible for a significant marketing budget, as well as having a considerable influence in the performance of the business. The person in this role will lead the strategy, analysis, optimisation and reporting carried out. They will play a key part in helping improve the efficiency of the paid search activity, as well as grow traffic volume to the website and increase sales. The role will also work closely with the other areas of the marketing team to ensure an integrated strategy. You will be initially responsible for a team of 4 which will expand as the business grows.
The ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years’ experience of managing PPC/Paid Search activity ideally in-house on a day-to-day basis and also of initiating PPC campaigns from scratch. They will also have experience in managing significant paid search budgets as well as experience working with attribution modelling and reporting. They will be a natural communicator and able to work well alone and with a team. Experience in the travel industry would be beneficial but individuals from other highly-competitive industries will be considered. The successful candidate will be at the cutting edge of paid search and be knowledgeable about all the latest trends and market info.
