Senior Key Account Manager - eCommerce - Hotels -- UK-London


This American dotcom, a top 5 player in their industry, operates a global network that includes more than 250,000 partners worldwide. Our client provides a first-rate reservation service in 38 languages that uniquely combines local knowledge and local connections to provide the best hotel deals to both business and leisure travellers.


As Senior Key Account Manager, the main objective is to support the Senior Director in the relationship management and optimisation of some of the firm's most valued hotel chain partnerships. You will bring a strong analytical acumen, or business development knowledge. In addition, the capability to establish and develop good working relationships with both internal and external customers will be a key to the success of the role. A 'make it happen' personality, disciplined work habits, and attention to detail will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities comprise:

1) support the achievement of key accounts goals

2) optimising chain hotel offerings on the website

3) handle incoming enquiries from stakeholders both internal and external

4) identify new opportunities for operational efficiencies.


  • Ensure that key accounts are exceeded as planned
  • Ensure the competitiveness of products from chain partners on the website
  • Provide support for internal and external stakeholders for technical enquiries
  • Implementation of enhancements to improve hotel performance
  • Internal communication of best practices and knowledge
  • Work with chain partners to further their business objectives in line with the overall strategic objectives of the company
  • Monthly and weekly reporting and analysis
  • Share relevant data and information with partners to ensure a high level of communication and feedback to optimise performance.
  • Work with Key Account Managers to plan and executive new property roll outs and content enhancement
  • Occasional communication of new initiative to key accounts contacts
  • Handle rate and technical enquiries from internal and external stakeholders


  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree
  • Prior experience working in hospitality, e-commerce, travel industry, airlines or tourism sector a must
  • 2 + years experience in leading large commercial account management conversations and, therefore, the ability to communicate a value proposition to potential partners at all levels is key
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Builds great relationships with colleagues and partners, alike
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Past success in mentoring and building organisations that cater to long term customer relationships
