Business Travel Consultant

With offices in London, Manchester and Melbourne, Diversity Travel is a full service Travel Management Company specialising in the charity, academic and not for profit sectors. Voted Best Travel Management Company at the 2014 Business Travel Awards and, more recently Best Business Travel Agency at the TTG Awards, Diversity Travel is one of the fastest growing TMCs in the UK.

To support our continued growth we are seeking a Business Travel Consultant to join our London Office.

Our roles have a broad scope: with a can-do attitude you will assist clients with their travel enquiries, both over the phone and via email, including (but not limited to) booking flights, hotels, arranging car hire, airport parking and advising on travel visas.

We are looking for experienced problem solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to multitask whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer service planning travel to some of the most volatile and isolated parts of the world.

 Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a Travel Consultant either within Leisure or Business Travel

• Strong experience of nett fares, including air passes and RTW fares

• Excellent  industry and worldwide travel knowledge

• Good CRS knowledge - Galileo preferable but cross-training can be given

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to deal with clients over the phone on a daily basis

• A passion for travel with demonstrable energy and self-motivation

• A “lead by example” work ethic to drive first class customer service

• Work independently, and within a team, to achieve individual and departmental targets

 In return you will get:

  • A highly competitive salary, along with an annual performance-based bonus scheme.
  • Pension, life insurance, season ticket loan, childcare vouchers, cycle-to-work scheme, discounted staff travel, free refreshments, central offices, team nights out and access to all roles on an internal first basis
  • The experience of working in a fast-growing company with excellent opportunities for progression
  • First class training and development from our in-house Quality and Training Department, equipping you with everything you need to excel in this role and progress within the company

So, if you are a self-starter and a supportive team player, who wants to be a part of one of the fastest growing, specialist Travel Management Companies in the country, then get in touch; we’d love to hear from you!
