Key Account Manager – Airlines
A leading, global online travel agency is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their media services team. Reporting into the Head of Media Services, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for business development, creation and development of new and existing accounts, execution of company strategy as well as the overall performance of travel partners’ advertising campaigns.
The KAM will monetise the audience of the companies’ websites by selling traffic, data, CRM and merchandising services to external agencies and clients with a particular focus on airlines, major hotel groups and tourism boards.
The successful candidate will have a background in sales within the online advertising industry. They will have experience of commercialising online spaces for the web as well as planning ad campaigns in an online media centre through media agencies, internet portals direct advertisers etc. Ideally, the successful candidate will be a proactive, result-driven salesperson with a natural ability and passion for client relationship management. Extensive knowledge of online advertising trends and different ad models and a university degree in business/marketing/advertising will be valuable in this role.
Knowledge of the travel industry, particularly the aviation sector would be essential to success in this role.
