Sales support consultant
Sales support agent -Required for this exclusive luxury travel club based in a great location in central London. You will be supporting the reservations agents and exclusive clients with all pre departure holidays questions and administration. The role is Monday to Friday only and will pay around £23,000 + benefits.
Sales support agents duties
-Documentation generally - aim for 24 hour turnaround from request to confirmation
-Once deposit has been paid, consultants to hand over booking to sales support who will confirm everything with suppliers
-Invoice chasing from suppliers to give to accounts
-Being exceptionally thorough and accurate in checking client documentation. Attention to detail is imperative
-Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels.
-Checking membership numbers are in flights and trying to book seats on all bookings
-Assist consultants with the preparation of itineraries (adding photos etc)
-Assist consultants with calling hotels etc to find out availability
-Diary management in Outlook- tracking team movements, putting in sales calls, putting in clients' birthdays (and sending cards), putting in 'touchpoint dates', pre and post travel calls
-Compiling fact sheets - vital at the initial sales point when a TS itinerary isn't required (with the help of Marketing)
Sales support consultants skills required
-Travel industry experience is a must in administration, operations, marketing
-Attention to detail is very important
-Fantastic phone manner
-Strong destination knowledge
