National Sales Manager

Reporting in to the Head of Sales & Commercial, our client are seeking a National Sales Manager to lead and motivate a field based team of Account Managers. Tasked with implementing and carrying out the B2B sales strategy with the UK travel trade, with an objective to meet and exceed company targets, goals and objective, as part of this newly created role the National Sales Manager will be leading senior commercial negotiations with the trade to include, consortia head offices, independent travel agents and OTA’s.
Leaderships and mentoring skills are essential for this senior travel job as the field account management team will look up the National Sales Manager for support and direction.
Another area the National Sales Manager job will be to get involved in will be business development, targeting new business opportunities generating extra revenue for the business. As part of this National Sales Manager travel job will be attending trade shows and events being the face of the business along with the account management team.
Reporting, budgets and forecasting will become a regular task for the National Sales Manager, ensure ROI on spend with the trade, making commercial decisions and championing these with the account management team. Ensuring the team have all the right collateral and merchandise to spread the word and the brand in the B2B arena.
You may currently be working in a senior job in travel for a Tour operator, Airline, OTA, or Hotel group in a Sales Manager job, Regional Sales job in travel or Senior Partnerships travel job.
