National Account Manager, Leisure
Our client is a highly renowned international airline that operates worldwide to over 150 different destinations in 95 countries such as Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam and Hong Kong to name a few. With various offices around the world, this position gives you the autonomy to work from home whilst visiting their UK head office that boasts enviable views if you are a bit of a plane spotter.
Working exclusively with this international airline, our client are looking to hire a National Account Manager to look after the leisure B2B business, in particular online travel agents.
As a National Account Manager, you will be tasked with implementing and monitoring an effective sales and marketing plan with your portfolio of online travel clients, holding commercial meeting and ensuring the terms of agreed contracts are met. Working closely with the National Sales Manager, on commercial negotiations and sales plans and being the face of the business at trade events and functions.
The job of National Account Manager is on the front line for B2B sales, they are the eyes and ears of the business therefore competitor activity will be fed back in a constructive and accurate manner to the relevant teams in order for them to action, in addition to this new business opportunities will be discussed with the business development team so they can pick up new leads.
This senior job in travel requires a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to the job. You may currently be working a similar senior travel job for a Tour Operator, Airline, Online Travel Agent or Hotel group.
