If so, we have a fantastic, brand new opportunity for a Travel Advertising Sales Executive to join a Warwickshire-based tour operator to sell advertising space in their bi-annual tour brochures. This challenging but rewarding role involves working to targets, generating revenue from a mixture of clients across relevant industry sectors, handling existing clients and generating new leads and contacts and managing all aspects of the sales process. The successful candidate will be sales driven, professional and articulate with strong rapport- and relationship-building skills and in return, my client is offering a competitive starting basic salary of £17k with an OTE of £22K!

Role of Travel Advertising Sales Executive:

  • Sell advertising in bi-annual tour brochures
  • Maintain and develop existing and new client relationships
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries
  • Use databases to maintain and expand volume of clients
  • Accurately update and maintain relevant database information
  • Accurately record, analyse and administer sales contracts and all necessary paperwork, ensuring a diligent follow up to completion
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally with design and accounts departments
  • Time management, prioritisation and accuracy in all aspects are required.

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous telesales experience
  • Proven sales track record
  • Articulate with a professional and persuasive telephone manner
  • Strong rapport- and relationship-building skills
  • Sales-driven and able to work to targets
  • Good IT skills including Excel and Outlook and database experience (ideally ACT)
