Commercial & Product Executive
Working closely with the Trading Manager you will ensure that you exceed revenue targets. You will be tasked with analysing results to ensure we consistently show the best travel products and offers for our audiences. You will manage allocated key categories to achieve revenue targets. You will develop your categories, improving sales and building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and your partners. You will love unlocking the potential of your category through analysis of the numbers and you will enjoy creating merchandising ideas to promote your category across print and digital marketing channels. You will gain experience of trading and contribute to decisions on product and marketing. You will have a passion for travel and enjoy seeing the outcomes of your efforts contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Targets: help to achieve targets for revenue , CTR and conversion
*Merchandising: working closely with the Trading Manager to optimise and employ a process of continual improvement by experimenting with changes to design, tracking and instituting changes that work.
*Analytics: analysis of data to understand what products to market through which channels at what time of year
*Marketing: Planning how to promote travel experiences to audiences through most effective channels; work with marketing teams to achieve this
*Products: ensure that all products are accurately displayed and available to book both online and offline
*Tracking: ensure that accurate tracking is in place all performance metrics to measure revenue, clicks and conversions of category.
*Working with key areas within the business to optimise performance e.g. Marketing, Editorial team, ad-ops, Product development, Optimisation etc.
*Communicating new initiatives and key wins with the team.
*Working with other category executives to share ideas and grow knowledge; provide cover cross-team.
*Work with suppliers to maximise sales of existing products.
Skills Required:
*Account management experience , understanding partners and growing revenue
*Understanding and ability to use Google analytics, Omniture and Excel
*Compiling reports , identifying patterns and building a case to deliver change
*Presentation skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
*A curiosity about consumer behaviour and how to act on it for marketing purposes
*Demonstrable experience in the same or similar role
*CMS Experience
*Comfortable in a fast paced environment
*Ability to meet deadlines
*Adaptable to change
*Experience of working in the travel industry.
The Package:
*A basic salary of £30, 000 - £35,000 depending on experience
