Trade Sales Executive
Trade Sales Manager, NW London, Salary to £27k
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Trade Sales Managers' role is to support the sales team in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the business is able to meet its growth targets. Primarily through the telephone your responsibility is to act as a liaison and support existing accounts whilst identifying potential growth areas, sourcing new accounts opportunities and developing and maintaining long-term relationships with travel professionals to maximise sales revenue and passenger volumes. You will represent the company as the brand ambassador for your accounts, to create a positive perception and establish travel agent partnerships using a variety of strategies and innovative methods. Office based and salary to £27k
Trade Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with your sales partners
Generate ideas and strategies to actively participate in travel agency growth.
Retain and manage business relationships for each travel agency
Research and continually source for new revenue opportunities .
Utilise existing data and reports to develop strategic and tactical plans for achieving territory goals.
Attend international / domestic sales meetings
Provide market information feedback to the business on market positioning.
Plan, create and implement an annual territory sales plan
Develop a pre/post sales call strategy
Gauges the effectiveness of partnerships
Provide and articulate regular market & competitor intelligence
Regularly produce a comprehensive territory performance report to the business.
Trade Sales Manager Key Requirements:
Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels.
A proven & experienced sales background. Travel preferred.
A high achiever with an exceptional track record of sales success.
Target driven individual with a motivation for sales
Ability to sell to the customer and apply appropriate closing skills
Previous experience of territory management & sales planning
Well-developed presentation skills that include preparation
A professional demeanor and appearance
Proven track record of developing successful relationships with external partners.
Ability to adapt to a quickly changing sales environment; ability to shift priorities per business and/or territory demands
