Do you speak a second European language and have experience of Incoming FIT travel into the UK and Europe? Do you have extensive FIT Reservations experience? If you have a good understanding of hotels in the UK & Europe market, this reservations role may be for you! Our client is one of the UK's largest incoming travel tour operators and is seeking an experienced FIT Accommodation Executive with strong European language skills to join their busy and expanding team in London.

Job Description:

Working within the FIT Department your core responsibility will be booking all FIT Accommodation services. This position is designed to facilitate the smooth flow of client booking confirmations through the department and thereby enhance the quality of service given to our clients.

Duties:

*Processing the accommodation requirements for all confirmed FIT bookings in accordance with the agreed KPIs and SLA.
*Processing, including securing hotel and B&B space for booking requests for which we have no allocations or where allocations have already been utilised.
*Ensure additional space required meet current booking requests.
*Identify booking patterns and trends and advise your Manager of potential future product shortages, with the objective of securing additional product to service the projected company requirements.
*Securing additional allocations when required and compiling monthly utilisation report in conjunction with the account handler, dealing with any overbooking situations that might arise.
*Responsible for the timely processing of bookings into Tourplan, the Company's reservation system and Issuing booking confirmations to suppliers.
*Responsibility for operating the Department's 24 hour emergency phone numbers on a rotational basis shared with other staff members from the FIT Department.
*General office duties including booking confirmations, filing, processing reservations including the preparation of client vouchers and invoices Tourplan

Experience Required:
*Experience in the travel industry and incoming travel
*Excellent communication skills with fluency in a 2nd European language
*Friendly and efficient telephone manner
*Good keyboard skills and experience of using computers and Tourplan
*A sound knowledge of European geography and currencies
*Ability to work under pressure and willingness to meet deadlines
*Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
*Professional with excellent interpersonal skills
