Senior PR Executive & European PR Coordinator
An exciting dual-role has arisen for a talented PR professional looking to broaden their PR skills and gain experience in a fast-paced luxury travel organisation coordinating a European PR team, as well as managing a B2B and B2C UK remit
The successful candidate will be expected to support a busy team with a variety of requirements, across the UK and European markets. Key responsibilities will include:
*Leading the coordination of the European PR teams (Italy , Germany and France) to include management of day-to-day activity and working with Head of PR in planning , strategy , evaluation and reporting
*To act as an ambassador for the brands and assist the Head of PR and PR Manager with management of the day to day PR activity for each brand in B2B and B2C markets.
Key Responsibilities:
*Create objectives for each market, monitor output and evaluate performance
*Refining new European structure , introducing new processes where necessary
*Day-to-day management of the European PR Managers and agencies and their development (to include reviews, recruitment and appraisals)
*Budget supervision - to include the creation of a tracking tool
*Organising and hosting European 'Summits' and events to ensure a cohesive European market
*Assisting Head of PR on strategy development for each market
*Working with each market to develop an online PR/social media plan, to ensure that each team is maximising social media opportunities and driving traffic to web/social pages wherever possible.
*Oversee the recruitment of any interns on the team and manage their work output.
*Assist with event preparation and organisation
*Manage the media database, coverage reports and evaluation
*Source and coordinate broadcast opportunities and photo shoots
*Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy press office environment
*Experience of digital PR and utilising social in integrated campaigns
*Proven media contracts - in particular , but not limited to , travel to , travel media (consumer and trade press)
*Capable of writing compelling copy
*Ability to establish relationships with staff at all levels and to manage PR output, often in high pressure situations.
*Seen as a credible ambassador for the brands and is able to influence external audiences in an appropriate manner.
*Capable of understanding the bigger picture, with an eye for detail.
*Able to take a more creative and lateral approach to PR opportunities as they arise
*A personal interest in overseas travel , with strong geographical awareness
*A team player - understands the strength of working together to achieve goals and encouraging fellow peers.
The Package:
*A salary of up to £26,000 plus company benefits
