Client Retention Specialist - Travel Industry - A unique opportunity to work for a very well established travel company that offers a unique travel / holiday product offering a basic salary dependent on experience of up to £18,000 plus bonus and incentives with the additional benefit of working standard office hours Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm and 1:3/1:4 Saturdays.

Dealing with holiday property and cottage owners across the UK this role is ideal for individuals from a sales / account management / retention / overseas in resort management background gained from either the travel industry / hospitality / lettings industry or similar client focused and service driven industries

The Owner Retention Specialist will be a constant role model and ensure every owner / client is given a 'World Class Owner Experience' with main responsibilities being:
- To make proactive efforts to retain existing owners / clients
- Identifying any trends and potential risks, recommend solutions and implement them quickly
- Utilising sales techniques and objection handling to overcome situations whilst keeping a long term relationship in mind
- To actively engage with owners / clients in a timely manner
- Creating strong relationships
- To offer sound, professional advice over the phone and at times, face to face
- Completing day-to-day tasks within the Owner Services Team and the wider business
- Recognise any other opportunities, such as extra properties belonging to the owner
- Identify, share and spread best practice throughout the business
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork

Suitable candidates for this unique and very challenging Client Retention Specialist MUST:-

- Have worked within a similar retention or negotiation based role having worked within sales or account management roles within the travel industry / lettings industry / banking or other service industry or alternatively have worked in a supervisory or management role for a Tour Operator overseas

  • Have proven experience in dealing with conflict resolution
  • Have a background in negotiating with customers or suppliers
  • Prove to have key account or account management background and effectively managed relationships effectively
