Travel Reservations and Operations Manager, London, Salary to £40k plus bonus
We are seeking an experienced Travel Manager who is looking for a challenge, enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment, is very hands on and will be instrumental in driving efficiencies within the business through their sales, product, operations and travel industry knowledge. They will also be an influential and experienced people manager who is target driven with excellent customer service skills. Salary to £40k plus bonus

Travel Reservations and Operations Manager Responsibilities:
Manage a reservations team and individuals to maximise sales
Assisting with sales and bookings as and when required
To ensure the team is dealing with all enquiries in a professional manner
Motivate individuals /team to perform their role/achieve targets
Maintain customer service standards, understand who our clients are and what their expectations are
Solve customer problems & instil retention
Lead and implement change effectively
Champion the roll out of new mid office & CRM systems
Prepare quarterly performance reports on each office/team
Ensuring all offices follow standard practice and SLAs in terms of operations, service and training

Reservations and Operations Manager Requirements:
At least 3-5 years' of managing a team in a travel-sales environment
Strong know-how of working in a tour operator environment, with luxury sales, product and operations expertise
Strong track record of making sales and managing at the same time / hands on approach
Luxury tour operator background
Knowledge and insights of rolling out new travel mid office and CRM systems
In depth understanding of the requirements involved in the lifestyle management of affluent
GDS knowledge
Ability to manage change and inspire others into new ways of thinking and working
Strong leadership and management skills
Passionate about delivering service excellence
Target driven & sales focused, with the ability to understand larger strategic goals and thinking

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Contractual hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Requirement to be on call outside working hours in case of service-related emergency and be flexible to business needs
