Sales Consultant – Home based
Salary: OTE £50-100k+
Hours: 30-40h per week, flexible working hours (including evenings and alternate weekend cover)
My client is ranked as one of the UK’s Top 3 travel agents*. They have years of experience in sourcing some of the most exciting travel deals anywhere in the market – whether it is a bucket list 3 night break to see the Northern Lights for £199, a 4 night break on a 5* Gibraltar superyacht for £249, or a 7 night holiday at the 5* Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort in Halkidiki for just £399.
They invest substantial amounts in sourcing this exceptional product and marketing it across channels including Travelzoo, Secret Escapes, The Telegraph and direct to our own database. This generates substantial call volumes from a highly engaged audience with conversion often close to 50%.
They deliver outstanding customer service from the moment a client makes contact with them to the moment they arrive back in the UK. Continuously adapting and growing and having recently received investment, this is a really exciting time to join my client as they grow and develop their business.
What they need
They are looking for ambitious people that have a hunger to make money. They are a people business and so interpersonal skills are key, but prior travel experience is not essential. It is much more important that you have a passion for learning about our product and engaging with their customers to maximise conversion and to identify suitable upsell opportunities. If you are a German speaker or has a good communication skills in German, this will be a plus in your application!
What they can offer
The earning potential in this role is exceptional. Their average homeworkers earned in excess of £50k in the last year, with their top sellers consistently earning well in excess of £100k. These earnings are predominantly commissioned based and are uncapped so will suit those that enjoy a very clear target and reward based environment.
They have spent a lot of time investing in their internal systems and processes to optimise their sales environment – they make money when you make money and they have done everything they can to help this. They don’t charge line rentals or administration fees like some of their competitors.
