A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly reputable hotel chain as Key Account Manager with a focus on Meetings and Events. The role can either be homebased or at the head office in London, there is significant UK travel required for this role.
Key Account Manager- Meetings and Events, Responsibilities
You will work alongside the sales team reporting to the Director of Strategic and Key Accounts. You will be driving revenue and ROI from a portfolio of key M&E based accounts, and you will raise the profile of the large network of hotels the business has across all brands within the M&E arena with a focus on UK hotels. You will be accountable for identifying and managing 30-50 key accounts and work towards the company and personal quantitative and qualitative objects set and agreed annually. You will target and develop business for priority hotels within the portfolio, prepare months sales reports and attend trade shows.
Key Account Manager Skills Required
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience within an M&E sales environment
- Demonstrable Account Management experience
- UK and Overseas Hotel Sales experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of the travel industry as a general
- ability to form long lasting working relationships both internally and externally
