Sales Manager, Luxury Tour Operator, London

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager has arisen to join a luxury Tour Operator in London

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the total performance and output of the sales team. You will create an implement strategy to increase sales, efficiency and client service whilst also providing sales leadership and motivating the team to optimum performance. You will be working with the commercial and senior product manager to ensure departments are working correctly together and work with the agency sales manager to gather feedback from travel agents to strengthen trade relationships. You will take control of all ongoing developments of sales processes and techniques, manage all areas of sales staff recruitment and training and be the direct report line for Sales Team Leaders and the Operations Manager.

Sales Manager Experience required:

  • Mid-Senior level sales management experience in a Tour Operation environment
  • Experience in recruiting, managing and developing a team of staff
  • Results driven with a sounds understanding of Sales KPI's
  • Ability to show strategic skills, and identify training needs and sessions to improve performance.
  • Experience of a GDS is preferable
  • Experience in working with group and private travel
  • Well-travelled with good knowledge and understanding of the luxury and cultural travel market.
