Due to internal promotion SLC Representation is recruiting for a Sales Manager to manage the UK and Ireland Sales, Marketing and Representation for the ONYX Hospitality Group (brands include Amari Hotels and Resorts and OZO).
The role includes:
- Responsibility for delivering growth in room nights and revenue from the UK & Ireland markets
- Managing all trade relationships
- Managing an annual sales calendar of planned activity, sales calls, training and promotional activity
- Pitching for new accounts through personal visits, presentations, and on-going correspondence
- Analysing sales figures and suggesting suitable strategies for growth
- Working to agreed sales calls targets
- Liaising with airlines and tourism authorities to generate leads
- Working co-operatively with tour operators on marketing campaigns
- Organising in-market sales visits, educational trips and promotional events
- Planning and attending trade shows
- Delivering extensive sales training
The successful applicant must be educated to degree level, with a sales background and a strong knowledge of the UK & Ireland travel industry. Experience within the APAC region, hotel sales and corporate experience highly desirable. Must have excellent communication skills and be commercially-minded, a strong negotiator and confident at presenting with a proven ability to grow business in a B2B environment.
Location: Wimbledon, London, with extensive travel in the UK
