Are you an experienced Travel Consultant with a sound knowledge of worldwide airfares and a commercial acumen. Do you have experience of booking flights via GDS? Are you looking to move away from sales and to use your skills in a different area. I have a rare opportunity for someone to make a move in to product and commercial. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside Airline Account managers to help and identify new commercial opportunities to ensure that our clients prices are competitive within the market place. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The focus of this role is to maximise the efficiency of the commercial team, to allow the department to be more proactive in identifying and realising commercial opportunities.
Duties for Commercial Sales Coordinator:
- Identifying sales opportunities from new fares and Airlines.
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to update and drive initiatives.
- Monitor airline sales incentive progress and proactively target sales to support these.
- Manage a portfolio of airline accounts.
- Manage the setup of new airline from first contact to going live.
- Competitor monitoring
- Airline sales reporting.
- Monthly analysis of airline sales to identify trends.
- Hours: 8am to 7pm but most of the time would be 9am - 5.30pm

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will have previous Travel Industry experience, ideally within a Tour Operations or Business Travel environment with a good understanding of Airline fares. You will need to be a committed, enthusiastic and supportive team member, with knowledge of GDS (Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre).

THE PACKAGE:
You will be offered a competitive basic salary (dependent on experience), plus bonus and benefits including 22 days holiday, rising to 25 with service.
