Do you have strong experience of contracting villas and hotels in Southern European resort destinations? If you tick this essential requirement then we are very interested in hearing from you!

You will be responsible for establishing the company's foothold in the European villa accommodation market, specifically Southern European summer destinations. Your previous experience in this niche sector will be crucial in establishing and growing this new product for this successful villa specialist.

Main Responsibilities:
*Identify growth areas and research new Areas for consideration
*Together with the Overseas Manager/Consultant put together a feasibility study for growing the villa programme
*Negotiate with Villa Owners and agents as agreed to ensure best value.
*Together with Resort manager (when appointed) ensure any services/refurbs for the villas are managed and accounted for correctly.
*Negotiating local car Hire for best value
*Negotiating local transfers for best value
*Implement local intelligence gathering together with Resort Manager
*Provide back up to Resort managers in owner/agent relations with owners.
*Recommend/Reinforce any deductions that need to be made to owners
*Re-enforcing company policy towards owners/agents
*Monitoring Villa Performance and making recommendations to sales
*Assisting Marketing Department in the Yield Management programme
*Contacting owners to implement the above
*Ensuring all correct information is loaded onto the back office.
*Input and implementation of any future client initiatives
*To ensure maximum delivery of the holiday experience is given to the client
*To implement the management of the ad-hoc programme as agreed
*To ensure that owners are paid for ad hoc bookings as agreed
*Ensuring all contract information on the back office is correct with the contract
*Liaising with the account department to ensure prompt and correct payments to owners
*Continually review working practices and implement new practices as/when required
*Assist with the implementation of the owner's information on back office
*Until the French programme is up and running to capacity and subject to experience, may be required to get involved with contracting other European resorts in the programme.
*Carry out any tasks that may be deemed integral to the position

Person Specification
*The position will be based at the Hertfordshire office
*A fluent in a second European language is a must.
*The successful candidate is likely to have had several years "real face to face" negotiating skills (not necessarily all France). They will need to have the social skills that go with this face to face negotiating.
*The successful candidate must have worked in/around the chosen regions and have first-hand contacts with both agents and owners. They should know the main player in the villa or hotel market in the chosen regions.
*There will be lots of opportunity for training that will involve travelling to other resorts in Europe.
*The successful candidate must have a "best practice" attitude to customer service.
*The successful candidate must be resourceful and be a creative thinker
*The successful candidate must be passionate about his/her product.
*The successful candidate must be a team player, although they will need to be able to guide, drive and progress their areas of responsibilities.

The Package:
For the right candidate who ticks the very specific requirements, a very competitive basic salary of between £40-50k+ is on offer depending on experience.
