Head of Product & Purchasing – Long Haul

My client is a leading a leading travel company specialising in dealing with high value clients

They are now seeking a Head of Product & Purchasing to lead a team that is accountable for Product Development, from contracting, to product loading, operations, sales support and ongoing quality. The role comes with direct accountability for Long-Haul Passenger, Revenue and Margin results.

Candidates must have held senior product/purchasing roles within the travel industry with a particular focus on Asia/Far East as well as having managed product teams.

Head of Product and Purchasing Responsibilities:

Strategically developing a compelling and competitive product proposition within long haul markets particularly Asia/Far East

Negotiate competitive rates and terms with suppliers including hotels, DMC’s and ground agents

Achieving set targets and objectives

Managing a team of product executives

Head of Product and Purchasing Experience Required:

Extensive product and purchasing experience within the long haul market

Knowledge of Asia/Far East preferred

Previous team management experience

Head of Product and Purchasing Salary and Benefits
