Our client is one of the leading sales, marketing and PR representation firms in the UK and Europe, representing hotels or destinations from all over the world. A well established and respected brand in the UK working with the leisure and MICE markets.
As an Account Executive, you will be tasked with working closely with the Account Director managing a portfolio of key clients representing them in the UK and Europe. This is a sales and marketing job in travel, where the successful candidate will be responsible for working with the leisure travel industry, ensuring that key clients receive maximum exposure in the UK through sales, marketing & PR initiatives.
This travel job will involve representing key clients at industry events, overseas conferences and FAM trips, but also to identify any product training requirements in the leisure sector and educate sales consultants on how to sell your clients market.
The PR tasks will involve, maintaining their database, social media updates, managing media events and to assist with organising events & trade/consumer shows. There will be an element of administration tasks that will need to be carried out so candidates must highly organised for this Account Executive travel job.
Candidates must come with minimum 3 years travel industry experience and have knowledge of the travel agency network, you may currently be working in agency sales, sales & marketing, or a product job in travel or be in account management representing a tour operator or hotel chain.
