Marketing & Brand Manager for the Bury St Edmunds Destination Management Organisation
Manage the new Bury St Edmunds Destination Management Organisation promoting and enhancing the destination of Bury St Edmunds and surrounding area and its businesses.
The post holder will achieve this by working with all member businesses,local destinations and develop a voice and profile for the destination.
The DMO would lead on key initiatives, identified in the AECOM Report (available to view via our website), to improve the assets of the destination and directly apply for local, regional, national and European grants/funds to implement the destination plan.
It is intended to develop a membership offer which would provide members with a clear and simple proposition focused on `route to market’. This membership would also include automatic membership of Visit East Anglia and all its associated benefits.
This recognised DMO will also look to benefit from local partnerships with Visit Suffolk, Visit East Anglia and indeed with national bodies Visit England and VisitBritain.
