Our client is an entrepreneurial travel business in the online and retail space, specialising in luxury holidays and an established honeymoon specialist. Offering their clients a personal service and priding themselves on their extensive destination knowledge to meet all of their customers demands.
In this operations job in travel you will be the lynch-pin of the organisation, reporting directly into the owner and founder of the business the Operations Manager will oversee the online and retail channels. With a combined team of around 14 staff, the Operations Manager will support both teams to ensure they are motivated, driven and maximising on all sales opportunities.
The ideal candidates for this senior travel job will be someone with strong operational experience, that can think on their feet; excellent leaderships skills, ideally a travel industry background and someone that can multi-task with excellent customer service skills.
This is a very diverse role where you might be meeting a supplier in the morning, doing rotas at lunchtime and handling a wedding enquiry in the afternoon, hands on and juggling skills are a must.
You might currently be working in a tour operating job, online travel agent or possibly in leisure retail travel in a management role looking for something a little different where you can utilise your leadership and operational skills.
As my client is an entrepreneurial and expanding business. a flexible approach is required and someone that can take on adhoc projects and work outside of their “job description”.
