French Speaking Contracts Executive for Sports Travel Company

Manchester

£18,000 (fixed term until end 2018)

A leading sports event management business are seeking a French Speaking Consultant for their Golf Travel department as they prepare for the Ryder cup in Paris. A great opportunity for someone interested in hotel contracting and researching destinations.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with administration and business operations for events
  • Research and gain a comprehensive understanding of the Hotel infrastructure for venues where events will be hosted and be able to guide and participate in the development of the strategy for the local sales market with the Accommodation Manager, ensuring the attainment of company goals and profitability
  • Participate in preparation of action plans for the effective search of contract leads and prospects that follow through to closure
  • Maintains the internal database, ensuring that it is up to date with contact information
  • Coordinates and executes action plans with Accommodation Manager to contract market share of Hotel Rooms.
  • Assists in the creation and delivery of proposal presentations to clients
  • Maintains contact with Hotels to ensure excellent working relationship
  • Provides Management Information Reports as required
  • Research of Accommodation via internet including but not limited to no of rooms, room types, rates, facilities, location
  • Input of data into in-house systems
  • Checking of rooming lists and inventories
  • Processing general enquiries via email, telephone, letter, fax
  • Allocation of rooms through check in for clients
  • Create confirmation reports and despatch
  • Create invoices and despatch
  • Produce/maintain reports on the results of accommodation research
  • Data collection
  • Chasing invoices
  • Filing and other paperwork
  • Hotel inspections, reports to management teams regarding findings
  • General administrative connected to position

Working hours: Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 6.00pm.
