Are you an experienced Product Executive with strong commercial awareness and an eye for detail? This leading specialist travel company based in Essex are seeking an strong and dynamic Product Executive to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for developing the product and destinations in line with company objectives. This role supports the Product department in contracting and pricing duties as well as producing tactical offers, brochure production with a view to growing the business and enhancing the customer experience. Their product is dynamic and varies from group travel by coach, rail, air, ocean and river cruising worldwide but mainly with a focus on the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe. If you have exceptional geographical knowledge, highly literate, immense attention to detail and able to Identify new market opportunities, analysis competitors' activities this could be a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

*Effectively communicate brochure and promotional material to the sales team
*Obtain customer and supplier feedback information from the sales and purchasing departments
*Information maintenance and updating
*Updating product databases.
*Maintenance of our current data of tour descriptions and itineraries, hotel descriptions, information on tourist attractions, contact details for tourist offices and guides.
*Research new product, whether destination, theme, package, or event led
* Co-ordinating with our purchasing staff to identify price competitiveness on local hotel / supplier product.
*Obtaining pricing for visitor attractions and guides where attached to product.
*Competitor analysis of product we intend to promote.
*Develop innovative marketing and promotional material.
*Complete the product related content of promotions (e-marketing, online, advertising, press releases)
*Complete the agreed content and production of all brochures as scheduled for distribution
*Brief the Graphic Designer regarding agreed content. Proof for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met
*Write, update, review content to all website pages to a high standard.

Skills required:

*Previous experience in a Product Role with the Travel industry
*Proven track record negotiating supplier contracts and special offers
*Experience of travel reservations systems and databases
*Excellent organisational skills
*Friendly and professional telephone manner
*Can work under pressure and able to multi-task
*Fluent written and spoken English essential
*Resourceful team player
*Commercial acumen
*Target oriented, with self motivation and determination to succeed
*Planning and organisation with the ability to prioritize around conflicting deadlines
*Strong communication skills (fluency in English both written and verbal)
*Thorough knowledge of MS Office software with knowledge of html and graphic administration an advantage

*Please note a driving license is essential for this position
