A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a specialist Travel Industry related business in Surrey as their Business Development Manager

Business Development and Marketing Manager Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all business development and marketing activity within the department. You will lead and strategically direct the sales activities of the team, you will directly manage and motivate team members (5 sales, 2 marketing) to exceed company /individual targets and develop new areas of business. You will provide market insight and analysis, whilst looking to get a deep understanding of potential and existing customers. You will have autonomy over budget planning and monitoring department business development and marketing spend against budget. You will be responsible for leading and reporting on all e-marketing, web, social media, PR and events.

Business Development and Marketing Manager Skills Required

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales, business development and team management
  • A demonstrable understanding of the Travel Industry/ Aviation Industry
  • Target driven, 'hunter' styles sales attributes
  • Customer focused
  • Commercially astute
  • Direct management experience
  • Some knowledge of WordPress, social media, PPC and SEO
