An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager/Account Manager to work for a leading Incoming Tour Operator. You will be working within the sales team based in their Central London Office. As a Sales Manager / Account Manager you will be responsible for the development of existing customers and the recruitment of new customers primarily within the UK market. You will need to have experience with B2B sales particularly with UK market, strong technical experience with good knowledge of Excel, XML and Salesforce. The role is very results/target driven and gaining an in-depth understanding of your customer's needs you will promote, recommend and introduce the relevant services and provide the highest standards of customer service.


*Manage the relationship and cooperation with the current network of partners and clients in the designated territory, which includes some of the company's biggest clients, to ensure not only a continued fruitful and profitable cooperation but also develop it further.
*Continuously work towards a pipeline of new partners and clients
*Ensure that the company's position as a leading provider to the travel industry in the territory is maintained
*Initiate, plan, develop and implement a strategy for achieving or exceeding sales, profit and minimum margin targets that are in-line with budgetary forecasts
*Develop and maintain plans for existing partners and clients including for example to thorough account evaluation identify growth opportunities with each customer and drive new revenue and profit streams
*Represent the company at various industry events
*Conduct business trips on regular basis in the designated territory.


*Fluent in English, spoken and written.
*Certain technical understanding
*Good level of skills in Excel and CRM (ideally SalesForce)
*Ability to analyse sales figures and based on those take commercially sound decisions.
*Experience of working with really large clients and hence not intimidated by 'big numbers'
*Strong market orientation - demonstrated ability to in a structured and analytical manner identifying key customer needs and the ability to understand and prioritise based on both short and long term goals
*Solid networking and relationship building activities and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain trust with customers and other strategic partners
*Demonstrate a natural ability for turning opportunities into tangible business
*Experience gathering market data and customer feedback, processing the information and delivering this information to the relevant departments
*Ability to work on multiple tasks, keeping track of projects and monitoring progress
*Decisive and results oriented.
