As a Head of Inflight Retail, this senior travel job will take ownerships of the revenue generated through inflight merchandise, maximising on advertising opportunities through on board POS and promotions. This is a commercial driven executive travel job that will require excellent leaderships skills of an existing team and someone that look after and drive the inflight strategy for 12 months.

As a Head of Inflight Retail, you will be tasked with managing 3rd party relationships, ensuring that the commercial terms are favourable managing this relationship at a senior level and getting involved with any escalated issues or queries that may arise. Another area of this executive travel job is product innovation; therefore product development experience would be ideal in addition to ensuring the crew are fully up to speed on product development and implementing a crew commission structure to motivate on maximising revenue.

The commercial element of the Head of Inflight Retail job will involve pricing analysis, tracking sales and managing the in-flight budgets, as well as working closely with the catering team to ensure cost cutting and targets are met.

Ownership and delivery of the in-flight product falls under the remit of the head of inflight Retail, you may currently be working in a similar executive travel job for an airline or you may have a rail background, alternatively the successful candidate may be working for a travel business in a commercial and product development capacity where your skills and knowledge are transferable.
