A leading service provider for the industry, our client is a hugely successful travel social media platform that allows travel business to showcase their product to maximise on their audience in the UK. Ideally located in central London, our client will offer a fast paced and dynamic working environment, covering all areas of the travel industry.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager’s job will be to maintain a portfolio of loyal clients to the business, ensuring year on year their business in retained and they are well looked after. On the other side there are areas of the industry that can be tapped into to generate additional sales and revenue for the business.
Successfully showcasing our clients product is the key to this senior travel job, being the point of contact for their existing partners and being the business ambassador at travel events. The profile of the successful candidate for this senior travel job will be someone that is financially motivated, enjoys the buzz of sales and also has a commercial mind. In addition to this, strong account management skills are essential.
The product being offered is a service to the industry, so you may currently be working in travel recruitment, PR, sales and marketing or representation maybe even as an account manager. The characteristics of this individual will need to be that you have gravitas, are confident, have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
