Do you have a strong career within finance? Have you gained experience as a Project Manager and enjoy the budgeting and reconciliation of events? My client are an events specialist and they currently have a vacancy for a Project Finance Manager based in Surrey. Your role as a Project Finance Manager is to manage all aspects of the client project final accounting and reporting functions are accurately actioned. Ensuring all project finance is within budget, check content of invoices are correct, reconciliation and final accounting.

PROJECT FINANCE MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Participate in Foreign Exchange risk management ensuring budget exchange rates are calculated
* Attend regular Project Finance team meetings to review Job Log details
* Confirm status of each job in relation to Billing and Final Account status
* Management and reconciliation of Project Accounts
* Raising client invoices
* Liaise with Project Manager to obtain full details of agreed budget information
* Prepare client invoices ensuring addressed correctly
* Check content of client invoices to ensure accuracy
* Ensure invoices sent to client within specified timelines
* Approval of budgets prior to client release
* Check all figures and formulas to ensure accuracy
* Carry out 'sense check' of information and question any areas for concern with Project Manager
* Reconciliation and final accounting
* Arrange meeting with Project Manager to check all items in budget are accounted for
* Ensure all invoices / expenses / costs are recovered and entered into budget
* Ensure 'change of scope' items are authorised and accounted for in budget
* Ensure final accounting is finalized and approved within specified timelines
* Compliance to all internal audit and finance procedures
* Ad hoc projects as and when required
* Attendance at company meetings & training days
* Travel to assist at on-site events as required


PROJECT FINANCE MANAGER EXPERIENCE:

* Must have experience of Project Finance
* Or perhaps you are a Project Manager who enjoys the budgeting and reconciliation aspects of events
* Working knowledge of SAGE would be an advantage
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Fill Intermediate level in Excel skills

THE PACKAGE:

You will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary in the region of £30000 - £37000 plus some great company benefits like 25 days holiday per year, annual Profit Related Bonus, health Insurance, company pension, flexible working and more.
