Are you a Product and Contract Manager within the Travel Industry? Do you have personal interest in outdoor holidays or come from a sports or activity holiday Tour Operator background? This leading Activity Holiday Tour Operator are looking for a Product and Contracts Manager to join their small and friendly team based in East Sussex.

The successful candidate will be overall responsible for the contracting of new and existing hotels and suppliers, along with working closely with the operations department to accurately and cost effectively price their holiday packages.

PRODUCT AND CONTRACTS MANAGER RESPONSIBILTIES:
*Setting up annual programme of trips, both existing and new, to fit with revenue and profit targets
*Negotiating with accommodation/boat partners to contract best rates and conditions, and formalising partner relationships in written agreements
*Developing an in-depth knowledge of the product range and continuously developing products to offer the best travel experiences for our guests and to meet changing demands
*Planning new trips in accordance with health and safety and operational requirements, and looking at trip feasibility in conjunction with the Operations Manager
*Holiday costing, taking into account all operational costs
*Holiday pricing in accordance with the company's pricing strategy
*Competitor analysis, both direct and indirect competitors
*Organising and conducting product updates and product training to sales staff
*Assisting with event manning as required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
*2+ years' experience within a product department in the travel industry
*Must have proven negotiating experience, as well as strong analytical and commercial skills
*Will have successfully contracted hotels and other travel products/services
*Must have trip costing experience and the ability to forecast potential future trip costs
*Ideally some operational experience/knowledge, preferably within sports/adventure travel
*Pro-active and detail-orientated, with the desire to push forward our high quality standards
*Passionate about sports/adventure travel

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a basic salary between £24-26k depending on experience, plus company benefits.
Monday to Friday working hours / 40 hours per week.
