Position Summary

Due to the extensive growth plans for Cruise 1stwe have two new,exciting roles, working within the commercial and product team. These roles require an individual who understands the product delivery and successful marketing of all Cruise products. The successful individuals must be able to work at a fast pace while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Working alongside the Product Manager these roles require instigation and day to day management of supplier relationships to ensure products are kept competitive and up to date. The roles also require individuals who can be creative to build, price and market exclusive product to new and existing clients in line with the company strategy and marketing plan.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Support the instigation and maintenance of new commercial relationships with suppliers

Work with the Product Manager to agree and set up new commercial agreements with suppliers

Integrate Cruise products into in-house and consumer booking platforms

Negotiate exclusive rates and support marketing funds requests with supplier partners 

Create proposed annual marketing plans, submit coop requests and coordinate delivery

Produce and deliver sales notes and campaign training on a weekly basis to support all marketing activity and supplier campaigns

Coordinate call centre staff training with suppliers to ensure staff are confident in selling the products and understand expectations

Monitor competitor websites, mailing activity and press adverts

Monitor Cruise 1st website to ensure offers remain valid

Build and load new exclusive product onto in-house and consumer booking platforms including displaying itineraries in the correct order and ensuring pricing is accurate and up to date

Update Cruise 1st website with ‘added value’ messages and competitive pricing while maintaining profit

Combat any competitor offers creating a disadvantage in the current market place

Work alongside the ecommerce team to create e-flyers, landing pages, display banners and possible micro sites to showcase the products via the web

Support other areas of the business as and when required including reservations, customer services and finance

Travel on company business as and when required

Education and Experience

IT skills including – Word and Excel preferable

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Previous product experience in the Cruise sector
