My client specialise in delivering high quality sports tours for professional Sports teams, Amateur Clubs, Schools, Universities and sports fans / supporters.

This is a fantastic career opportunity for a creative, strong sales individual, with a genuine interest or knowledge in Sports (in particular Cricket, Rugby, Hockey or Netball) to join a fast growing specialist travel company based in the South of Essex as a Senior Sales & Marketing Executive. The key part of the role will involve a lot of telephone contact and regular correspondence by email and even meetings. Following up on quotes, designing and organising projects / tournaments, marketing initiatives such as flyers, mail blasts and managing the social media coverage. Full training will be provided and regular opportunities for travel, both domestically and internationally.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE A PASSION AND INTEREST IN SPORTS (IN PARTICULAR CRICKET, RUGBY, HOCKEY OR NETBALL). YOU MUST ALSO DRIVE AND BE A CAR OWNER!


Duties:
*Produce and manage advertising for the brand including social media coverage.
*Following up on quotes, assist with the design and then organising projects ie tournaments
*Liaison with key clients - England Netball, Hampshire
*Distribution of flyers, volume emails & other promotions, maintaining appropriate records
*Providing quotes and follow ups to supporters.
*Attendance at trade shows to promote company tours and services.
*Supporting all individual customer products to include taking bookings and payments, making all necessary bookings with airlines, hotels, transport companies etc.
*Compiling testimonials and carrying out customer surveys.
*To develop new or enhance existing tour products in conjunction with Sales and Marketing team.
*Regular website administration. - updating new products onto website
*Updating youtube page & social media
*Additionally, the individual will be involved in company sales strategy issues and the selection of new products and services.


Skills Required:
*It is essential to the success of this role that the individual is organised, highly energetic and capable of managing a very busy and diverse set of responsibilities.
*The role requires an individual with a range of skills in administration, planning, sales, marketing and communication.
*The chosen individual will need strong communication skills
* Able to liaise appropriately with a broad range of people, including suppliers, clients and officials, face to face, by telephone and in writing.
*Previous experience of the travel industry is desirable
*an interest in sport would be of significant benefit.
*Must be a car owner

Working Hours:

*Standard office hours are Mon - Fri: 9 - 5:30pm
*The successful candidate will also have regular opportunities for travel, both domestically and internationally. You will also be required to attend occasional trade shows to promote company tours and services.

Package:

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £24k - £25k DOE, plus fantastic benefits.
