Travel Customer Service Consultant

Salary £18,000 (depending on experience)

Warrington / South Manchester

Working hours on a rota basis between Monday to Friday 9-5:30 and Saturdays 9-5

A highly successful, dynamic and growing Travel Company are looking for experienced travel industry professionals to join their busy Customer Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity to further your travel career in customer service if you have a background as a travel sales advisor or travel consultant as this role requires someone with a knowledge of dynamic packaging travel and cruises.

The Role and Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers regarding any changes or amendments to their bookings
  • Deal with queries relating to aftersales travel bookings
  • Process any administration tasks as required including the accurate and timely dispatch of tickets and documentation
  • Handle any customer issues or concerns effectively and professionally
  • Promote additional products to enhance customer travel

Experience Required:

  • A passion for travel with previous travel agency experience and a proven ability to dynamically package itineraries and cruise packages
  • Highly customer focused and able to build relationships and rapport over the telephone
  • Excellent written communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail, able to organise and prioritise effectively
  • IT literate - can comfortably adapt to the use of multiple in-house systems and Microsoft packages
  • A positive, enthusiastic manner with the flexibility and attitude to embrace the potential of this growing business
  • European language skills would be desirable but are not essential
