Our client is one of the UK's largest incoming travel tour operators and is seeking an experienced Incoming Groups Operations Administrator to join their busy and expanding team in London. As an Incoming Groups Operations Administrator you will be overseeing the operations of our groups and ensure that clients' expectations and requirements are more than met. You will be responsible for ensuring that all services are correctly booked and requested amendments are confirmed within company deadlines. The role will involve booking all aspects of inbound travel so a good knowledge of hotels, touring, restaurants and conference venues within the UK is essential.

Duties:
*Creating and checking group itineraries for combined Scotland Wales and England tours.
*Booking of all group itinerary services together with the management of cancellations and amendments
*Book all services within the required timeframe and budgets thus ensuring an efficient and profitable service
*Support as required with production of rooming lists and final documentation
*Managing file handover and Tourplan messages for the company's groups Departments as required
*Quality control with suppliers - support on quality control issues that arise.
*Major quality control issues to be identified and reported to the Operations Manager for further action and reporting.
*Support with quality control client issues as required - supported by the Customer Care staff member responsible for that client.
*Support on management of trainees / staff to carry out the operations function

Experience Required:

*Knowledge of the system Tourplan a distinct advantage
*Good knowledge of the UK tourism industry and products
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Excellent administration skills, negotiation and communication skills
*Team player able to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines
*Fluency in English (spoken & written) is essential
*Fluency in a second European language a distinct advantage but not essential
