Customer Relations Coordinator

Central London

£24,000 + Benefits

My client , a long established leading upmarket tour operator is now seeking to recruit a Customer Relations Coordinator.

The Customer Relations Coordinator is an integral part of the customer services team so the ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role with good letter writing skills and grammar.

Customer Relations Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Handle all in-coming calls, e-mails and written enquiries into the Customer Relations department and log for action
  • Discuss and where possible try to resolve any on-going customer issues
  • Assist team members when required in all areas of the Customer Relations department
  • Print / dispatch acknowledgement letters
  • Investigate and respond to customer enquiries & complaints and communicate & process all pre-tour changes and cancellations to customers within agreed timescales
  • Raise refunds, credit vouchers, compensation or other gestures as necessary
  • Action customer requests received from other areas of the business linked to Customer Relations
  • Generate ‘Welcome Home’ letters and send within agreed timescales
  • Log all customer credits in the booking system, recording voucher numbers and notes relevant to the complaint

Customer Relations Coordinator Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role within travel is essential
  • Good letter writing and grammar skills
  • A professional and friendly manner. Approachable to both colleagues and customers
  • Ability to relate to our experienced and discerning travellers
  • Ability to work unsupervised, individually and as part of a team
  • Proficient at planning and organising own time
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Customer Relations Coordinator Salary and Benefits:

  • Base Salary to £24,000
  • Good Benefits
  • 23 Days Holidays
  • Travel Concessions
  • Monday to Friday 9-5
