Customer Service Manager - A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Travel Industry Customer Service Manager based near Manchester in the North West of England.

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading a small team of pre and post travel customer service agents which has the scope to grow quite considerably over the next year or two as the business grows. This will be both a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for managing and improving service levels, the customer experience and compliance in line with travel industry legislation (i.e. ATOL Legislation). You will act as the escalation point for any customer complaints and ensuring there are the correct processes and procedures in place that allows the business to grow.

Customer Service Manager Skills Required

  • Extensive customer service experience gained in the travel industry
  • Inspirational people leadership skills with a track record of improving standards and driving efficiencies
  • A strong understand of relevant travel industry legislation and regulations
  • An understanding of dynamic packaging and cruise products highly desirable
  • An individual who is capable of creating and delivering strategic initiatives whilst being happy to be hands on and leading the team by example
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Someone who is driven and can help grow the team in the future
